The right equipment.
For your job.
Include the equipment move when you plan the hire. Clear addresses, timing and access details help establish what is needed to get machinery to site and collect it afterwards.
Give each move a clear brief
Add the delivery and collection addresses, site contact, requested time windows and any entry restrictions. Where a model is already known, include its transport weight and dimensions. The appropriate vehicle and loading arrangements depend on the actual equipment and route.
Check transport in the offer
Check delivery and collection charges separately from the equipment rate, including any applicable waiting, access or other extras. A requested arrival time is not a confirmed transport booking. Final arrangements need to be agreed before dispatch.
Plan the end of the hire
Record the requested finish date and ask how extensions, off-hire notification and collection are handled. Those are separate steps; a collection request does not automatically establish when charging ends. Refer to the terms of the agreed offer.
